Car thefts continue to increase Victoria wide

Figures show 306 vehicles have been stolen in Mildura in 2022.

That’s compared to 161 thefts reported in 2013, almost double in the last ten years.

Figures from around the state include:

Ballarat, 278 in 2013 to 606 in 2022

Bendigo, 142 in 2013 to 292 in 2022.

While the Commodore and Falcons are the most stolen cars, there’s also been an increase in the number of Audi, BMWs and VW’s taken.
