Life Saving Victoria is expecting more people to head to coastal beaches instead of staying around the Murray River over the upcoming holidays.
Mildura’s Lifesaving Club is still heavily impacted by floodwaters, with many lifesavers heading to the coast to help with patrols as the local beach is underwater.
Dr Bernadette Calverley from Life Saving Victoria is urging people heading away to make sure they head to patrolled locations.
