There are calls for locals to think about organ donation during DonateLife Week.
A local MP is calling for Victoria to follow South Australia and have organ donation recorded on a person’s driver’s licence.
The Mildura region has the lowest reported organ donation rate at 22 per cent, well below the national average of 36 per cent.

Member for Mallee Anne Webster says her own granddaughter received a liver transplant when she was 14 months.
