Locals are again being urged to roll up their sleeves and head to the Mildura Blood Bank as blood supply in Victoria has dropped.
Red Cross Lifeblood says the number of people cancelling appointments due to cold and flu symptoms has reached its highest level in five years due to an extended cold and flu season.
More than four-thousand donors are needed across the state this week for supply to return to normal levels.
Locals able to donate blood can call 13 14 95 or go to https://www.lifeblood.com.au to book an appointment, and then head along to the Mildura Blood Bank on Eighth Street.
