On Saturday 24 May Police reported a 36-year-old man from Berri. It will be alleged that he was stopped driving a vehicle on Riverview Drive, Berri when checks on his licence revealed that he is currently disqualified from driving. He will be summonsed to appear in Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
On the same day Police reported a 31-year-old man from Loxton for driving while disqualified. He was stopped driving on Tobruk Terrace, Loxton. He will be summonsed to appear in Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
On Saturday 24 May Police reported a 39-year-old man from Loxton. It will be alleged that he was stopped driving on Bookpurnong Terrace, Loxton when he returned a positive result for illicit drugs. He was issued with a three-month loss of licence and may be summonsed to Berri Magistrates Court at a later date pending forensic analysis of his drug sample.
On Saturday 24 May Police reported a 33-year-old man from Berri. It will be alleged that he was driving a motor vehicle on Hepworth Street, Berri when he was stopped for the purpose of a random breath test returning a positive alcohol result of 0.167. He was issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence notice and will be summonsed to appear in Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
On Sunday 25 May Police arrested a 37-year-old woman from Renmark. It will be alleged that she was stopped driving on Sturt Highway, Berri when licence checks revealed that she was currently disqualified from driving. She underwent a roadside drug test returning a positive result for illicit substances. She was arrested and her vehicle was impounded for 28 days. She was bailed to appear in Berri Magistrates Court on 1 July.
On Sunday 25 May Police arrested a 47-year-old man from Renmark South. It will be alleged that he was stopped driving a vehicle on Twenty Seventh Street, Renmark South when checks showed that he was disqualified from driving. He was arrested and had his vehicle impounded for 28 days. He was refused bail and will appear in Berri Magistrates Court later today.
