With the extreme heat forecast, and to keep everyone safe and comfortable, the Trail of Lights on Lock Island was closed yesterday, Thursday 29, and will be closed tonight, Friday 30 and tomorrow, Saturday 31 January.
Council says they appreciate the community’s understanding and can’t wait to welcome everyone back when the installation reopens on Thursday 5 February.
This Saturday’s Summer Sound Series at Rio Vista Park has also been cancelled.

Council says Summer Sound Series will return from 6:00pm on Saturday 7 February, featuring live tunes from the Mildura Academy of Music and Performance and great food at Jessica Rabbit.
