Breakfast clubs coming back to schools

Government schools across Mildura and Swan Hill will be offering breakfast clubs, but it may take up to 12-months.

The Victorian Government has announced more than 21-MILLION dollars from the State Budget to expand the program to every government school across the state.

Another 150 schools will be invited to join from Term One next year, with the remaining schools to get on board from mid-year.

It says going to school hungry has a big impact on children’s learning.

This year’s State Budget also provides a four hundred dollar School Saving Bonus to cover the cost of uniforms, camps, excursions and other extracurricular activities through the year.
