Better quality of life for dementia patients

An Australian first program will be rolled out in the Loddon Mallee using escapes in nature to improve the quality of life for those living with early stage dementia.

GreenCare Respite has received one-point-seven- million dollars in federal funding for the three-year project.

The organisation says the project will be rolled out in areas including Mildura and Merbein, and co-ordinate dementia-inclusive activities, day programs and overnight eco stays.
