Mildura Rural City Council are holding their Awareness to Action Forum today, Wednesday 10 December, 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Council says the event will be a powerful evening of conversation, connection and community action.
Former Melbourne and North Melbourne AFL player and Essendon AFLW Development Coach Ben Brown will provide the Keynote address, while joining a panel of local sporting club leaders.
MRCC says this forum is an important opportunity for everyone involved in local sport to explore their role in promoting respectful relationships in clubs and in our community.
The event will also feature information stalls courtesy of Mallee Family Care, Mallee Sexual Assault Unit Inc. Mallee Domestic Violence Services and headspace Mildura.
Dinner is included in the event at Powerhouse Place.
