Mildura will this weekend play host to yet another national motorsport championship, cementing our region’s reputation as a major events destination.
The SKAA Australian Speedway Kart Title will take place at Mildura’s Timmis Speedway over two days this weekend.
Councillor for Events and Tourism Rebecca Crossling said the event attracted the very best speedway kart drivers in the country.
“This is not only a coup for the hard-working members of the Sunraysia Dirt Karters Club, who have brought this event to our region, but for our community more generally due to the economic benefits this event will generate,” Cr Crossling said.
The SKAA Australian Speedway Kart Title will be held at Timmis Speedway this Saturday and Sunday, with racing starting at 6pm each night.
