Wentworth Shire Council have announced that there will be a road closure related to current Arumpo Road sealing works.
Arumpo Road will be closed to all traffic from the Wamberra Road intersection through to the Petro Mail Road intersection from Monday 18 to Thursday 21 November 2024 to undertake bitumen sealing works.
Possible detours are provided via the Petro Mail Road or Top Hut Road.

Its part of the Arumpo Road 24.52km upgrade, which sees an extension of the existing sealed section of the road.
Jointly funded by Wentworth Shire Council and the Australian Government, the reconstruction and upgrade work on Arumpo Road is scheduled to be completed in early 2025.
