An appeal has been launched to help build accommodation for patients, families and staff at Mildura Base Public Hospital.
Foundation House will be built near the hospital in coming years, and will provide up to 150 rooms for those who have to travel for regular treatment at hospital facilities.
The hospital’s foundation is selling virtual bricks for one-hundred dollars each, with a target of ten-thousand bricks to help build the accommodation.

The hospital says many patients travel more than 200 kilometres for regular treatment.
