Elecnor Australia will be conducting aerial tower inspections for the EnergyConnect project from today, Thursday 23 April, to Thursday 30 April 2026, weather permitting.
The inspections will be carried out by Sydney Helicopters, commencing in Wagga Wagga and moving west along the alignment towards Buronga.
You may see and hear helicopters flying along the transmission line and transiting between airport landing sites.
Any increase in noise levels will be temporary while the helicopter carries out the survey work.
Livestock owners: If you have livestock grazing along the easement, please consider relocating the animals to adjoining paddocks while the helicopters undertake the inspection.
Please note that there will be no aerial work undertaken on Anzac Day, Saturday 25 April 2026.
