Mildura Police are warning owners to lock their sheds and garages amid a spike in thefts from properties.
Officers say they’re currently investigating a number of thefts from outer properties where thieves gain access to sheds and garages that are unlocked.
They say commonly stolen items include tools and vehicles.

Locals are urged to call police or Crime Stoppers if they see a suspicious vehicle or person in your area.
