A reminder about e-bike laws

Mildura Police have taken to social media to remind locals and visitors about the laws around e-bike use.

To be legal, an e-bike must meet strict power limits:

• Max 250W and cut out at 25 km/h (EPAC)

• Not have a throttle that powers over 6km/h (EPAC)

OR

• Max 200W (power-assisted bicycle)

And it must have working pedals.
