Traffic lights are desperately needed on the corner of Sixteenth Street and Deakin Avenue according to Mildura MP Jade Benham.
She’s raised the issue in State Parliament, saying two people have died and several others seriously injured over the last 15-years.
The local MP says there’s been a big surge in traffic due to the growth of Mildura South and the Mildura Sporting Precinct.

The Member for Mildura is calling on Victoria’s Roads Minister to visit the region, with a focus on the intersection.
