The Karym Cleaning, 75th Anniversary, Mildura Motor Cycle Club celebration will be another top test for three times World Speedway Champion, Tai Woffinden, at Olympic Park, when he visits Mildura again on Friday night.

Added to the atmosphere this Friday, is the celebration at Olympic Park of AUSTRALIA DAY 2024, which will make the occasion special, as the Mildura Club will celebrate the Anniversary sharing with all in attendance, the sport which Australia gave to the World 100 years ago.

Speedway began at the West Maitland Showgrounds on 15th December 1923, when some motorcycle racing was added to the Agricultural Show program to hopefully entertain show attendees, as they raced around the Dirt track which circled the Show Arena.

A full field of sixteen will ride over twenty heats and then, as is tradition for the annual Phil Crump Classic Trophy, will contest the six rider, six lap Crump Final, which is where Woffinden took the longer Race record last year by winning the gruelling Final.

The 75th Anniversary celebration will also have a Sidecar component, with the Karym Cleaning, Sidecar Shootout being contested amongst an invited list of quality sidecars with the prize being the awarding of the Dudley Bradshaw Memorial Trophy.

The support classes will begin at 6:00 pm, before the actual 75th Anniversary and Australia Day celebration will begin.

Scrutineering and Sign-on will be from 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm with a Riders Briefing at 5:15 pm.

A Practice session will begin around 5:30 pm for those who have not ridden at Mildura this season and will be followed at 6:00 pm by the Juniors, Classic Solos and Sidecars with those competitors in full race mode.
