A police blitz has been held across Mildura, with police conducting over three-thousand breath tests and almost 50 drug tests on local roads.
From Friday to Sunday a number of drivers were caught over the blood alcohol limit.
Three drivers were found over the limit, with two on preliminary licenses which requires a zero blood alcohol level.
One person is due to face court at later date after allegedly being found under the influence of drugs and with a suspended licence.
Mildura Police say it was a good time to hold the blitz given the Bathurst 1000 was on.
No drivers were found breaking local speed limits over the weekend.
