Nominations are now open for Mildura Rural City Council and Swan Hill Rural City Council’s Australia Day Awards.
Mildura Rural City Council’s Australia Day Awards are in the following categories:
Citizen of the Year
Young Citizen of the Year
And Community Event or Project of the Year
Nominations can be made by visiting www.mildura.vic.gov.au/awards and can be submitted until 5:00pm on Friday 31 October this year.

Swan Hill Rural City Council Australia Day Award categories are:
Citizen of the Year – 30 years & over
Young Citizen of the Year – under 30
And Community Event of the Year – for events held in 2025 that brought people together
Nominations close 5:00pm, Thursday 20 November 2025, and can be submitted at letstalk.swanhill.vic.gov.au
