Audience members will have the opportunity to ask Commissioner Tsorbaris questions following the keynote speech.

Mallee Family Care’s Chief Executive Officer, Teresa Jayet, said Commissioner Tsorbaris’ visit to Mildura is an exciting opportunity for the local community.

“Having the National Children’s Commissioner in Mildura gives our community the chance to hear directly from Australia’s national advocate for children’s rights, and to ask her about the issues that matter to children and families,” Ms Jayet said.

Commissioner Tsorbaris’ visit comes as Mallee Family Care marks 30 years of its Community Legal Centre, which will be celebrated at the AGM.

The Community Legal Centre provides free and confidential legal advice, information, referrals and casework to people across Victoria and New South Wales.
