National Carers Week 2026 (11–17 October) is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the invaluable contributions of unpaid carers in our community.
As part of the celebrations, Mildura Rural City Council is hosting a free event to recognise and thank the unpaid carers who make a difference every day.
Wednesday 14 October, 9.45am to 1:00pm at Powerhouse Place, Hugh King Drive, Mildura.
A light lunch will be provided.
On offer will be Gentle Chair Yoga, arts and crafts activities, self-care information and resources and a chance to connect with other carers.

During Carers Week, Council will light up key sites across the municipality in blue as a show of support for Australia’s 2.65 million unpaid carers.
