Mildura Rural City Council is inviting the community to join in Frogs After Dark: Etiwanda Wetland Guided Walk is to be held Wednesday September 23, 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
It’s a free, family-friendly, guided evening walk at Etiwanda Wetlands.
Explore the wetlands as the sun sets and discover the fascinating world of local frogs and other wetland wildlife.
During the walk we will:
• Listen for local frog calls
• Explore the wetland wildlife
• Learn about wetland habitats
• Discover how to record frog calls using the FrogID app
• Find out how citizen science is important for understanding and protecting our natural environment
