Tuesday, around 7:30pm, police received calls about a Ute driving around the Lilley Drive area in Mildura with kids hanging out of the windows.
Police responded, quickly located, and pulled the Ute over.
The officers tested the driver for alcohol, and it will be alleged that he returned a blood alcohol concentration of 0.125, more than two times the legal limit.
The Ute was impounded at a cost of $1525 and the driver and the 50-year-old male from the Mildura area will have to face the Mildura Magistrates Court for drink driving related charges.
