Mildura Rural City Council are asking locals if they are looking for funding for your club, group or organisation to join grant funding expert Keith Whelan from The Grants Guy for a FREE practical workshop designed to help local community organisations improve their grant success.

Find the right grants
Get grant ready before applications open
Develop strong project plans and budgets
Write better grant applications
Avoid common grant writing mistakes
Manage reporting and acquittals after funding is received
Open to community organisations, not-for-profit groups, sporting clubs, arts groups, schools, service clubs and other local groups based in the Mildura Rural City Council area.
There are two sessions on Tuesday 18 August 2026, Community Session 1: 11.00am – 1.00pm and Community Session 2: 5.30pm – 7.30pm at Mildura Sporting Precinct.
Council says the events are free to attend, and the skills you learn could help your organisation secure thousands of dollars in grant funding.
