Police have arrested a man following two robberies last Wednesday, 29th of July 2026.
It is alleged the man rode his bicycle towards the first victim and took her handbag which was across her body.
20 minutes later the man grabbed another victim’s handbag and pulled it away from her, causing the victim to fall to the ground.

Both handbags contained personal belongings such as phones, sunglasses, headphones, and cash.
He then rode away from the scene and later used stolen credit cards to make various purchases.
A warrant was executed at an address in Mildura on Friday, 31st of July, where a 34-year-old male was arrested.
He has since been charged with robbery and obtain property by deception and remanded in custody to face court at a later date.
