Mildura MP JADE BENHAM’s supporting the Coalition’s pledge to spend 5 BILLION dollars on road maintenance, if it wins November’s Victorian election.
That includes fixing 1 MILLION potholes across the state, an issue the local Nationals member has previously raised in parliament.
Liberal leader JESS WILSON says potholes are not only dangerous, but also expensive for drivers.
The conditions of rural and regional roads is shaping up to be one of the defining issues of the upcoming Victorian election.
That’s according to Regional Cities Victoria who says its campaign for more funding on roads has been recognised with the opposition pledging 5 BILLION dollars on road maintenance.
And Mildura MP JADE BENHAMsays pot holes will also be a focus, with plenty of crumbling roads in her electorate including Birchip Sea Lak Road.
