Murray Mallee police have detected seven drivers committing traffic offences over the long weekend including two in the Riverland
An 18-year-old Barmera man was reported for misuse of a motor vehicle after he allegedly performed a burnout on Murray Avenue, Renmark just before 11.30pm on Friday 5 June.
His car was impounded and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
A 35-year-old man from Renmark North was reported for drink driving at Renmark on Saturday.
He was stopped on James Avenue at 8pm on Saturday 6 June and when breath tested, allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.089.
He was issued with a six-month instant loss of licence and his vehicle was impounded.
All reported drivers will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
