The Farm Household Allowance is a payment for farming families in financial hardship.
To get this you must:
• be an Australian resident and living in Australia
• be a farmer or partner of a farmer
• meet the income and asset test limits
• meet mutual obligation requirements
A farmer must:
• contribute significant labour and capital to a farm enterprise
• have rights over or interest in land in Australia that they use for the purpose of a farm enterprise
• have a farm enterprise that has significant commercial purpose or character.
