A woman has faced court charged over an alleged stabbing in Broken Hill.
Police were called to a home on Gaffney Lane, Broken Hill, about 6:00am Sunday (24 May 2026), following reports of an assault.
Police arrived and were told a 28-year-old woman had stabbed a man known to her in the face.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended, however the man, aged in his 40s, declined treatment.
The woman was taken to Broken Hill Police Station where she was charged with wound person intend to cause grievous bodily harm (DV).
She was refused bail and appeared before Bail Division Court 4 Monday (25 May 2026), where she was formally refused bail to reappear before Broken Hill Local Court on Tuesday 21 July 2026.
