Construction is now complete at the Fourteenth Street and Cowra Avenue intersection, and the road is officially open to traffic.
The project has included putting in better drainage to stop flooding, improving and widening pedestrian crossings, upgrading kerbs and pavements, speed cushions and traffic islands and adding clearer line marking, lighting and signage.
Essentially, the whole intersection has a had a modern refresh that will improve safety, traffic flow and support future growth in the Mildura East area.
