Mildura Rural City Council have announced the dates for the 2026 Road Confidence Expos.
The expos will provide an opportunity for the community to stay confident, maintain mobility and enjoy independence on the road later in life.
The two local events are to be held:
• Ouyen: Wednesday 13 May from 10am to 12pm, Ouyen Senior Citizens Club, 10 Cooper Street, Ouyen
• Mildura: Wednesday 3 June from 11am to 1pm, Mildura Senior Citizens Club, 129 Tenth Street Mildura
Industry professionals will present about topics including:
• Tips to reduce glare, night-time stress and fatigue
• Community services and protecting yourself
• Local laws – Parking Permits and Footpaths
• Vision tips and health conditions
• Occupational Therapy advice – small vehicle changes that make a big difference!
• Mobility scooter demonstration – find the right one for you!
• Victoria Police – how they can help you
Light refreshments, take-home resources, and the chance to win great prizes will also be on offer.
