Victoria Police are reminding locals to lock up vehicles, including trailers.
In a social media post, they have said “Your tools are your livelihood. “Losing them isn’t just an inconvenience, it can mean lost time and lost work.”
Police say thieves are targeting utes and trailers, often going for what’s visible or not secured.

Keeping a record of your tools, including serial numbers and photos, can help if something’s taken.
Victoria Police also encourage anyone with information to come forward.
