Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a suspicious package near the intersection of Seventh Street and San Mateo Avenue, Mildura on Sunday, April 19.
A member of the public contacted police about 4.40pm and reported seeing the package in a phone box.
Police attended and located the small device before calling for the Bomb Response Unit to attend and render the item safe.

The item was removed and investigations remain ongoing.
