Forest Fire Management Victoria and CFA advise that the following planned burning will be carried out on Tuesday 21st of April and Wednesday 22nd of April 2026, weather conditions permitting.
LM-MAL-UND-0043 Murray Sunset-Wymlet Boundary.
This operation will treat 491.57 ha of the 1023.56 ha fuel reduction burn, located 21km NW of Walpeup.
This burn should be completed between 10:00am Tuesday 21st of April and 8:00pm on Wednesday
22nd of April 2026.
You may see smoke from this burn until Sunday 26th of April 2026.
Smoke may be visible from: Underbool, Walpeup, Ouyen, Hattah and surrounding communities.
You may be affected by smoke from these planned burns.
FFMVic Staff will be patrolling this burn until declared safe.
