Police are investigating after a driver was seriously injured in a crash at Renmark Saturday night.
About 10.20pm Saturday 21 March, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of the Sturt Highway and Twenty Seventh Street following reports of a two-car crash.
The driver and sole occupant of a Mazda SUV, a 19-year-old Renmark woman, sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for assessment.
The driver and sole occupant of a Chery hatchback, a 31-year-old woman from Evanston, suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown to Adelaide for medical treatment.
The Sturt Highway was closed for several hours while Major Crash investigators attended to examine the scene, however, re-opened around 9.40am Sunday 22 March.
