Mildura have taken to social media to announce the Mildura Landfill is now open again after large areas were flooded following this month’s record rainfall.
The notice was posted yesterday morning.
Council have asked the community to please note there is still some standing water near the Transfer Station.

As a result, there are temporary changes to the way you access this area.
The weighbridge staff will provide you with directions as you enter.
Access to the green waste area and tip face remains unchanged.
Council has thanked the community for their patience while their teams worked to clear the flood water from the landfill.
