The Mildura Landfill remains closed following the recent record rainfall.
Mildura Rural City Council Manager, Waste Services, Sarah O’Connor says they are continuing to work on clearing significant standing water across the site.

The green waste pile and tip face areas remain closed
Mildura residents are advised to access the Buronga Landfill at 258 Arumpo Rd, Buronga, NSW, 2739
Kerbside bin collections are operating as normal
Wentworth Shire Council says they are pleased to support their regional partners and neighbours during the temporary closure of the Mildura facility.
The Buronga Landfill remains open 7 days a week to serve the entire community.
That facility is fully operational and ready to assist all residents and businesses with waste disposal and recycling needs.
