Residents across Sunraysia and the Mallee are being encouraged to swap g’day for K’day and help raise awareness and funds for vital research into childhood cancer.
Now in its fourth year, K’day encourages Australians to have twice the impact on these Aussie kids by donating to The Kids Cancer Project and having the donation doubled by corporate partners and major donors to fund vital kids’ cancer research.
It comes as figures show three Australian children die from cancer every week, with a further three children diagnosed every day.
CEO of the Kids’ Cancer Project, Owen Finegan, says it’s an opportunity for locals to double their impact and help children in the fight of their young lives.
On Sunday 15th February, every donation will be matched to help reach a vital goal of $400,000.
These funds will support critical research aimed at improving outcomes for children diagnosed with cancer, giving them a better chance at a brighter future.
“This 15 February, say “K’day” and donate at https://kday.org.au/”
