And on the same day, Berri patrols stopped a Honda motorbike on Nookamka Terrace, Barmera after it was spotted not displaying any number plates.

Checks on the rider revealed that his licence was cancelled and further investigation uncovered the motorbike was recorded as stolen.

The 18-year-old from Barmera was subsequently reported for illegal use and riding while unlicensed and will face court later this year.

The Honda was seized by police and will be returned to the owner after being examined.
