The Free Green Waste Weekend is back in the Swan Hill Rural City Council area.
To help residents clear out clippings, prunings, and leaves, Swan Hill Rural City Council is once again offering free green waste disposal at their landfills.
The offer is available at the Swan Hill Landfill and Saturday, 25 October, 9:00am to 2:00pm and Sunday, 26 October, 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Robinvale Landfill will offer the service on Sunday, 26 October, 9:00am to 3:00pm.
The two sites will be accepting grass clippings, small branches (up to 75mm diameter), garden prunings, leaves & weeds and hedge trimmings.
All green waste is mulched and reused in community gardens
The offer is for residents only.
Residential volume limits apply.
Commercial green waste will incur normal fees.
