Wentworth Shire Council on behalf of Transport for NSW has advised that that guard rail replacement works will take place on the Curlwaa (NSW) side of Abbotsford Bridge, near the caravan park, on Thursday 25 September 2025, between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
Additionally, works will be undertaken on the George Chaffey Bridge on Friday 26 September 2025, between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
Traffic control will be in place during this time.

Council is asking road users to follow all directions from traffic controllers and allow additional travel time where possible.
Council has apologised for any inconvenience and has thanked road users for their patience while these safety works are completed.
