Wentworth Shire Council have announced that planned critical works are required at the Scout Road Water Tower, Coomealla, on 17 & 18 September 2025.
Filtered water will be unavailable from 10:00pm, Wednesday 17 September to 6:00am, Thursday 18 September 2025 in Dareton (including Mourquong and Namatjira) due to critical works at the Scout Road Tower.
Council is asking the community to please avoid scheduling water use during the outage and keep buckets of water for toilet flushing.

Raw water supply will not be affected.
