Wentworth Shire Council has advised residents and businesses of Gol Gol, Buronga and Dareton (including Mourquong and Namatjira) that filtered water supply will be unavailable due to critical works at the Midway Tower for the 8 hour period: 10:00pm, Wednesday 3 September to 6:00am, Thursday 4 September 2025.
Wentworth Shire Council is asking water users to plan for the outage, such as not scheduling water use (showers/washing) during the outage period and to have buckets of water available for toilet flushing.
Raw water supply will not be impacted by the works.

Councils has apologised for any inconvenience caused while these critical works occur.
