Sunraysia and District Veterans Golfers Association were at Redcliff’s Golf Club on Monday 4th August, with 51 players in a Two Person Ambrose competition, sponsored by The Vines Retirement Village.
The Club Ladies supplied a wonderful lunch and the Club’s Curator Presented a course in great condition which was much appreciated.
Winners were Wayne Innes/Ashley Innes with 63.5 pts also Wayne/Brian Rudge with 63 pts.
Runner ups Greg Lee/Roylene Bailey 65.25, 3rd place Grant Giddings/Greg King 66.25.

12 Balls went down to 68.75.
The association gained a new member in Tim Donaldson and also had a visitor in John Smits.
The badge draw was won by Peter George.
Peter Davey from Ouyen has put his hand up to take on the position of Secretary after a search to fill the position lasting months.
Next month, September 1st, the competition is a 4BBB at Coomealla Golf Club sponsored by The Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club.
The association asks members to have a group of 4 ready, and bring $25 each at 8:30am to register.
New members are always welcome for $15 extra.
