Lifeline Loddon Mallee is asking the community to come together on World Suicide Prevention Day (10 September) to remember those who have been lost to suicide.
The Out of the Shadows Walk is a chance to walk to remember a loved one, as a personal tribute for a friend or family member, or to show your support for Australians experiencing emotional distress or mental illness.
They are asking members of the community to walk 9km to remember the 9 Australians lost to suicide every day.
They will walk together to remember loved ones and help other Australians in crisis come out of the shadows and into the light.
The Sunraysia Out of the Shadows Walk will be held Wednesday September 10,
10:00am to 4:00pm, at Garden of Hope, 158 Seventeenth Street, Cabarita.
You can walk on Sept 10 or choose a date that suits you.
