An important moment for the local region this morning with the Irymple Fire Station to officially open.
The new station will be opened this morning at 11.30 by CFA Chief Officer Jason Heffernan, along with Acting Deputy Chief Officer North West Region, Tim Holland and Commander, District 18, Shane Bailey.
As well as the opening of the new station, the brigade is set to receive its new heavy tanker.

The station has been under construction since last year, after funding for the new station was guaranteed back in 2021.
