Mildura Rural City Council is inviting the community to help celebrate the launch of their new Gender Equality and Preventing Family Violence Strategy, an important initiative that they say aims to address gender inequality in our community.
The launch will be held on Thursday, 19 June, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Powerhouse Place (122 Hugh King Drive).
A new short film ‘Mallee Woman: Sharing Stories, Shaping Equality’, which amplifies the need for equity, respect and community-driven change, will also be screen as part of the event.
