Elbow wrap sold at Kmart and Target stores recalled

Kmart Australia Ltd has announced a recall of the Anko Heated Elbow Wrap.

The recall, dated yesterday, May 13, describes the product as a rechargeable heat pad for use on the elbow.

The elbow wrap can overheat if it is positioned incorrectly or it is wrapped around too tight on the elbow.

There is a risk of burns injuries to the skin, with increased risk for heat-sensitive customers.

Injuries have occurred.

The product was available at Kmart and Target stores Australia-wide and online, from January 1st 2025 to April 4, 2025.

What consumers should do:

1. Stop using the product immediately.
2. Return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
3. Contact the store of purchase if you are unable to return the product to the store.
4. Tell us if you have sold or gifted the product to another person.
