Police on both sides of the border are now targeting road offences over the Australia Day long weekend.
Mildura and Swan Hill officers are taking part in Operation Amity, which kicked in early this morning and will run until late Sunday night.
Dareton and Wentworth officers warn double demerit points are now in effect until Sunday night, for offences including speeding, drink or drug driving and not wearing a seatbelt, as part of Operation Australia Day 2024.
