Wentworth Shire Council residents will be able to have hard rubbish collected.
The council is bringing in a program to allow unwanted items to be picked up from the kerbside this year.
The shire says it’ll be open to eligible residents, with collections staying within the two-by-two metre parameters, but NO commercial hard waste will be collected.
Eligible items include old furniture, bed frames and mattresses, electrical appliances & BBQ’s, whitegoods* (fridges, freezers, air conditioners), lawn mowers, hot water services (empty) and scrap metal or other hard waste items.
Non-eligible items include hazardous waste chemicals, oil fuel and other liquid waste, glass (including broken glass), batteries, green waste, soils and ashes and car bodies and tyres.
